Topic: Levi Junkert, a grad student in the CS Department at MSU-B, will be giving the following presentation on grid computing using Condor.

What is a grid and how does it work, what problems can be solved by grids, what is Condor and how does it work, how did we build our grid, how are we using our grid, and our results from our grid. After visiting the talk one will be able to have basic understanding in what a grid is, how it is used, and how one can benefit from using grids to solve some of their research needs.
