Nov/Dec BozemanLUG Meeting - Combo meeting for Nov/Dec on the first Thursday of December
David BorehamPresenter: David Boreham from NuevaSync
Topic: Extreme Debugging -- Cautionary tales from a year spent making cloud sync work.
Description: David will talk about the technical challenges encountered providing over-the-air mobile sync service, as the number of users grew from 100 to 100,000 and beyond. We will be discussing:
- Pros and cons of implementing multiple desktops with one computer
- Windows Vs Linux for multi head computers and software / hardware options available.
- Hardware / Software Issues
- Power savings
Having the meeting in the library will allow Ben and Michael to give a hands on demonstration.
