LUG Meetings

Meet up with Montana Linux people on IRC. We currently gather at the #ubuntu-montana room on the freenode network. Stop in and say "hello" or even ask/answer some questions. Don't have to be a Ubuntu user either. Or use the web-based chat client.

I just saw this in the Apple store in Minneapolis. It is just a big ipod touch. The screen looks pretty nice and the frame doesnt make any noise when you try to flex it a bit. Hardware build is pretty good.

One thing about it is 'adapter hell' meaning that the device has a special plug on the bottom and everything you want to hook up requires an adapter.

Its pretty snappy but the web experience is definitely lacking. no flash. I dont like flash but I do like websites so I put up with it. Without support for flash you get no youtube, and maybe 20% of the web is useless.

I would really like to see this hardware (with better ports) running Android. I have a Droid and am a Linux nerd so I might be bias.
