This site should be in any fedora users bookmarks. It covers everything that is needed to install and configure fedora. When I was trying out the newest version of fedora I was unable to get java up and running and the guide that is up there I was able to get it to work on the first try. I ended up not liking fedora very much but I still find myself dropping by there weekly and seeing what is new and anytime that I find myself forgetting something simple. It's a wonderful site that is well designed and easy to move around on. Check it out.
The main reason that I dropped Fed was the KDE desktop. Something about it I didn't like. That and the NXserver didn't like me very much so I went back to OpenSuSE

I wasn't real happy with Fedora Core 8 and ended up reverting to FC7 but in general FC has been pretty rock solid for me. I beat the heck out of my system with three monitors, a multihead video card, and usually three concurrent desktops (9 screens) in use all day long at work. At least a couple of those screens are NX sessions to other servers I'm managing. I only switched back to FC7 at home due to problems with MythTV - I must have my background noise :-) Thanks for the URL, I've been looking for something like that to give people.
