Here's Linus with Intel's Chief Linux and Open Source Technologist, Dirk Hohndel on the next 12 months of the Linux kernel:
Here's a kernel panel hosted by LWN's Jon Corbet featuring Grant Likely, Linaro; Borislav Petkov, SUSE; Thomas Gleixner, linutronix GmbH; Julia Lawall, Inria; Frédéric Weisbecker, Red Hat.
LinuxCon 2013 Europe was this week... and videos from it have started being published. Here's a video with our favorite Linux leader about the future of the Linux kernel. Enjoy!
Oh, and here is the Kernel Developer Panel
Here's Gabe Newell from Valve / Steam talking about Gaming on Linux also from LinuxCon. Enjoy!
LinuxCon 2013 NA is this week. Here's the keynote from Linux Foundation head Jim Zemlin entitled, "The State of Linux". Enjoy.
So far as I know, the various Linuxcon conferences around the world are planned and managed by The Linux Foundation. They have many, many sponsors... and The Linux Foundation has been doing live streaming from the last few... but it usually takes a while before the final videos are released. I believe someone in the audience shot this one and posted it to YouTube.
Just when you thought we already had too many desktop environments and window managers for Linux... comes the resurgence of one from the past... Enlightenment. The Enlightenment window manager USED to be the default for GNOME way back in the day... but after it got dropped it has sort of lived in exile with hundreds of hackers continuing to code on it for another decade.
The speaker is Mike Blumenkrantz, Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics and Release Manager for Enlightenment DR17. Enjoy.
If you want to download it, break out youtube-dl and do something like the following which is the 854x480 webm flavor:

Recently the Linux Foundation held LinuxCon Europe 2011 in Prague, Czech Republic. Part of it was the Embedded Linux Conference Europe held on October 26-28th, 2011.
The folks over at Free Electrons have done a quick job of making the videos from the Embedded Linux Conference Europe 2011 conference available... and in webm format too. Below I provide my two favorites.
Greg and Linus sat down for an open discussion about Linux and its 20th anniversary. They even take questions from the audience. This is from the LinuxCon Japan 2011 held in early June. They had a very similar discussion in August at LinuxCon North America but the video for that hasn't been released yet. Having seen both, I think this first one actually covers more stuff. Unfortunately the introducer takes a few minutes before we get to see Linus and Greg. In webm format.

Jon Corbet did another of his Linux Kernel talks at the LinuxCon Japan 2011 in early June. This is his Linux 20th Anniversary edition where he goes into a lot of the history of Linux so this talk is a bit different than his previous ones. Here it is in webm format.
